About Us

Youthcast Media Group (YMG), formerly known as Urban Health Media Project, trains high school students from under-resourced communities to report, write, and broadcast stories about health and social issues and solutions that affect their neighborhoods and cities.

YMG’s vision is for health journalists to reflect the diversity of the communities they live in, empowering people through media to make informed decisions about their lives.
