The Upswing Fund for Adolescent Mental Health is seeking diverse youth with lived mental health experience to help inform our work. We recognize the value of youth voices and insights on the mental health issues impacting them, their peers, and their communities.

As a Youth Advisor, you’ll serve alongside members of our Advisory Committee and The Upswing Fund team to provide feedback on our strategies and grantmaking criteria, and have opportunities to engage with our grantee partners. Youth Advisors will also have an opportunity to plan and launch a mental health related project to be featured on Upswing's website. Selected youth advisors will receive an honorarium.

Ideal candidates are:

• Between the ages of 18 to 25 and currently residing in the U.S.
• Passionate about closing gaps in mental health care for adolescents of color and LGBTQ+ youth
• Reflective of the populations we seek to serve
• Ready to take action on the adolescent mental health crisis
• Available to be engaged through November 2022 and can attend a kick-off meeting (April 20th 9-10 am PT) and 3 scheduled Advisory Committee meetings (April 27th 9-10 am PT; July 20th 11-12 pm PT; November 9th 11- 12 pm PT)
